EcoTools, Milani and Marshalls Mini Haul

Hey guys!

Today, I have a little mini haul for you all. This is all stuff I ordered/bought within a week after Thanksgiving.

EcoTools Bamboo Powder Brush (Retail Value: $7.99) - On Cyber Monday, all products on ecotools.com were 50% off. This ended up only costing $3.99! If you haven't tried EcoTools brushes, they are super soft and what makes it better is that they are cruelty free!

EcoTools Bamboo Buffing Brush (Retail Value: $6.99) - I also ordered this on Cyber Monday and it cost only $3.49!

Milani Brow Fix Kit in 02 Medium (Retail Value: $6.99) - On Cyber Monday, milanicosmetics.com had 20% off sitewide. I was kind of disappointed because last year they had 50% off sitewide!! Anyway, I still couldn't pass this up so I picked up this brow kit. It comes with a highlight shade, two brow powders, a mini angled brush, mini applicator, mini tweezers and a mirror. This is perfect for traveling with. Normally, I use a dark brown eyeshadow from my elf 100 eyeshadow palette to fill in my brows but that is such a hassle to travel with. I paid $5.60 for this brow kit.

Accessory Street Ultimate Work Tote - I am not sure of the retail price because when I ripped off the clearance price sticker the original price came off. I got this on clearance from Marshalls for $20. It is pretty big and also comes with a laptop sleeve. This will be perfect for day trips. Hopefully it does not wear out too quickly because that tends to happen with lower quality/no name bags like these.

Hope you all are enjoying your week. Don't forget to enter my OPI 007 Skyfall Mini Nail Polish Set Giveaway! It will be over in a few days.

Fire Ants!

Well clearly I am a big pile of poop blogger! I haven't posted anything since the beginning of this month. *smacks head* I have been busy though. I started a new job, so between that and school, I have no time for anything! Hope you all forgive me :) I have so many posts I would like to get done and I hope to really get going on them soon but no promises!

The above is Milani Jewel FX in Red over Wet n Wild Black Creme. As the title suggests, this mani reminds me of red ants coming up out of the ground.

Didn't I tell you in my last post that I would probably be covering the rest of my nails in Milani Jewel FX in Red? Well... there it is!

I.LOVE.IT.SO.MUCH.

Valentine's Day Mani feat. Milani Jewel FX in Red

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone, whether you are celebrating it or not! I hope you all enjoy your days!

I finally got around to painting my nails last night :) They are super short so I haven't really been in the mood to do anything with them :(  I went to CVS yesterday and saw this new Milani Jewel FX in Red. I have been drooling over it on the Milani website for weeks, so as soon as I saw it I picked it up and ran to the register!

As a base I used that cute little nail polish shaped as a boot (look down there!). It is from a brand called Midie and it is in the shade #314. Then I stamped some hearts using China Glaze Icicle. On the accent nail, I used Milani Jewel FX in Red.

Honestly, I will probably be covering over all the other nails with the Milani polish haha. I love it so much!

Animal Print..but not really.

It has been a while since I have posted anything nail related, huh? I was going for some kind of animal spots. I didn't turn out the way I imagined it in my head but I still kind of like it!

I used Zoya Avery as a base. For the spots, I used Milani Brown-a-licious. For the outline of the spots, I mixed Love & Beauty Almond and Milani Brown-a-licious.

Poke-A-Dots

Hey all!

Today's mani was done using a base of Love & Beauty Coral. The dots, Milani Hi-tech and Confetti Wedding White, were added using a dotting tool.

My 21st birthday is in 5 days!

Cherry Smash

I added Sally Hansen Cherry Smash crackle polish over Milani Get It Glitter. This top coat crackled very quickly and I really like the formula!

Milani Get It Glitter

This is two coats of Milani Get It Glitter. There are a few bald spots but that will be taken care of in my next post! I have had this polish for a while, it is from one of my first nail polish hauls. I had never done a full manicure using this polish and I don't know what I was waiting for because I love it! The pictures don't do this glittery polish any kind of justice!

Sorry for the horrible clean up job.. or lack there of!

Milani Baked Blush in Terra Sole

I received my free Milani baked blush in the shade Terra Sole today in the mail from the Facebook giveaway mentioned here! I was quite surprised to receive it so quickly, being that the email stated that I would be receiving the item in 4-6 weeks.

The shade is a bronzy peach that seems like it will be great for any time of the year! I don't normally use blush, being that my cheeks usually have a slight redness to them but this is a lovely color and I am excited to use it! You all know I already love their nail polishes so I am just as excited to try out any item from this company.

Don't forget to "LIKE" the Milani Facebook Page and look out for future promos from this awesome brand!

Guest Nails: Bianca

The above picture is a design I did on my cousin Bianca's nails for a wedding she attended this weekend.

I am not sure of the name of the base color because it was a color that she brought along but I believe the brand is NK. I then applied the design with a white and a silver nail art polish by L.A Colors, plus a clear rhinestone on the ring finger and the index finger. Bianca then added Milani Hi-Res between the white and the silver with a nail art brush!

Leopard Print..well...almost

This was my first attempt at a leopard print manicure. Well, my second. My first was sometime last year when I first started getting into nail polish and nail art, but that manicure ended up looking like cow spots instead! Don't ask -_- LOL

I applied 2-3 coats of Cover Girl Sand Dune. I then used Milani Brown-a-licious and Unforgettable Moments Precious Metal to create the leopard print.

Pyramid Passion

Above is 2 coats of Milani Pyramid Passion with fimo flower slices on the accent nail. This is a vibrant pink polish that I have had for a while, but I don't think I have ever used. I don't know why because it is an awesome color!

Please excuse the fact that I did not clean up the top coat that spilled over into my cuticles! I usually just peel it out under hot water rather than constantly taking acetone to my cuticles but I forgot this time!

The Jungle Look

This is two coats of Ulta The Jungle Look with a few coats of Milani Gems on the accent nail. The formula of The Jungle Look was pretty damn good if you ask me!

Let me just give you all a little update about why my posts have been appearing shorter and less frequent these past 2 to 3 weeks. I go to school full time and I recently started working again part time at a new job. This means I am usually pretty busy during the week now. I always plan to write up a few scheduled posts on the weekends but I do not really get the time to because it seems like every weekend I am dividing up my time between family, boyfriend and friends.

So if you all notice me slacking a bit, don't be alarmed and I hope you all don't stop visiting my blog!

OH you fancy, huh?

First off, please excuse the crappy lighting in this picture but at least it shows the true color of this nail polish!

This is three coats of Icing Pinot Noir. It is purple toned burgandy nail polish with a pretty bad formula. It did not apply well at all! To spruce it up a bit, I added Milani Jewel FX Gold, which I have been LOVING!

I want to say thank you to all my new and old followers! There is going to be a giveaway in the very near future!

Milani Jewel FX Gold

After a few months of searching I have FINALLY found Milani Jewel FX Gold. Seriously, everytime I go into a drugstore or any store with a Milani display, I desperately searched for this gold hexagonal glitter polish. I finally found it yesterday at a Walgreens about 5 to 10 minutes away from my house. Go figure! There were also two bottles of Milani Jewel FX Gems in the display but I decided to leave those alone because I already have it, after finding it at a CVS about an hour away from my home ;x

The above manicure shows Milani Jewel FX Gold on the accent nail. To get it to completely cover the nail I had to pat it on and maneuver some of the glitter into the place I wanted it to be. It is definitely not hard to work with though!

The rest of my nails are painted in two coats of Cover Girl Midnight Forest, which I showed you all in my Dollar Tree Haul.

Just a little something...

You all are probably tired of seeing these two polishes but here is Milani Gems layered over Zoya Skye. My nails are still super short ;[ THEY NEED TO GROW OUT NOW!!

(The watch was a present from bf a couple months ago.)

I PROMISE to have a quality post or two this week! After being sick and starting back up with school, I just have not really had much motivation. I have also put myself on a "don't buy unless it is less than $5 and extremely worth it" nail polish plan until further notice!

There's a Party Going on my Nails!

I'm wishing everyone a happy new year! Be safe tonight, whether you are going out or staying in! I'll be ringing in the new year with my boyfriend and my family =]

The mani below will be the one I am wearing to ring in the new year! As you can probably tell, I have been really loving Milani Jewel FX Gems. AMAZING! It looks just like confetti!

Base Color: 2 coats of Sally Hansen Black Out
Layered: Milani Jewel FX Gems
Accent Nail: 2 coats of Sally Hansen Black Out, one coat of Wet n Wild Dasher, one coat of Milani Jewel FX Gems and two rows of silver rhinestones

All topped off with two coats of Seche Vite!
