A Gradient Sea Mani Refresh
I added Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure to the gradient manicure shown in my last post. Then, I added ELF Matte Top Coat, which gave it a satin finish:
(yup, that's right - awkward right hand photo shots!)

A Gradient Sea
Hello all!
Today, I have a gradient effect manicure for you (click to enlarge the pictures!). I used a base of Ulta Blue Streak. I have to be honest, I don't quite remember what the middle color on this manicure is because I did this two weeks ago! I know, I know: FAIL!! The color on the tip is Ulta Dance Teal Dawn. I applied 2mm rhinestones on the accent nail.

Spiraling Out of Control
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Today's manicure consists of two coats of Ulta The Jungle Look. Then I stamped the design from the Bundle Monster Plate BM-224 using Sally Hansen Black Out and Confetti Wedding White. I am really enjoying this design and I don't want to take it off!

The Jungle Look
This is two coats of Ulta The Jungle Look with a few coats of Milani Gems on the accent nail. The formula of The Jungle Look was pretty damn good if you ask me!
Let me just give you all a little update about why my posts have been appearing shorter and less frequent these past 2 to 3 weeks. I go to school full time and I recently started working again part time at a new job. This means I am usually pretty busy during the week now. I always plan to write up a few scheduled posts on the weekends but I do not really get the time to because it seems like every weekend I am dividing up my time between family, boyfriend and friends.
So if you all notice me slacking a bit, don't be alarmed and I hope you all don't stop visiting my blog!

Happy Easter!
From Left to Right: Sally Hansen Sweet Creams, Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure, Ulta The Jungle Look, Jordana Tangy, OPI Banana Bandanna, CND Eclectic Purple
Happy Easter! I hope you all are enjoying your day.
Today's manicure consists of 2-3 coats of Sally Hansen Sweet Creams, which is a sheer and very light pink. I added a thin layer of Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure over every nail, including the accent nail. Then over Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure on the accent nail, I painted flower stems using Ulta The Jungle Look. I used Jordana Tangy, OPI Banana Bandanna and CND Eclectic Purple for the flowers. The stem and flowers were painted on using some paint brushes from a pack of 25 that I purchased at Michaels for less than $5.

Cover Girl Crackle Ghost and Ulta Dance Teal Dawn
Last week I decided to search for more of these Cover Girl Crackle polishes being that I still haven't found the China Glaze version at Sally Beauty Supply. (By the way, I found another one today about 25 minutes from my house but they didn't have them either!)
Anyway, back to what I was saying...I headed over to Ebay and searched Cover Girl Crackle. What showed up was Cover Girl Crackle "Ghost" (white). I was lucky because the auction ended one hour after I found it. I bid and won for $4 and change plus $2.99 shipping. WOOHOO!
I layered Cover Girl Crackle "Ghost" on the index and pointer fingers over Ulta "Dance Teal Dawn". Cute name, eh? "Dance Teal Dawn" is a deep teal polish with a slight purple sheen that looks amazing in the bottle but doesn't quite transfer over on the nails.

Blue Nails for Autism Awareness
A few days ago, I received an email from Jasmine over at ColourCoated.com about showcasing blue nails in honor of Autism Awareness Month:
"In case you were unaware, April is Autism Awareness month, and April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day.
Everyone is encouraged to wear blue in order to raise awareness, encourage early diagnosis and early intervention and to celebrate the lives of those that we care about who have autism.
A very good friend of mine has 2 young children with autism, and I used to teach children with autism, so this is something that is very close to my heart.
The idea to do blue manis for the month of April hit me when my friend asked me if she could raid my stash for blue nail polish to wear to an autism awareness rally.
I think having all of us nail bloggers rockin' some blue for autism awareness is a great way to get word out about the cause.
It's really simple to participate. All you've got to do is paint your nails blue or incorporate some kind of blue into your mani, and post it on your blog."
With that being said, today I have a navy blue polish by Ulta called Blue Streak. I applied two coats for complete opacity.
I do not remember if I mentioned this or not but I did find an Ulta about 35 minutes from where I live. I was so excited and got the boyfriend to take me there. I love the whole layout of the store! I was a bit overwhelmed by the vast amount of items that were there being that this was the first Ulta I have ever been to (plus this Ulta had a salon inside as well), that I decided to just pick up a few polishes and make a run for it. However, I definitely plan on going back in the future because those rows and rows of products just amaze me!
I hope you all participate and show support for Autism Awareness! I will be posting more blue themed manicures during this month!
By the way, notice that my nails are back to being super short? I had a stomach virus over the weekend and I just let my nails go to crap and I cut them all down yesterday!
Don't forget to enter my 100 Follower Giveaway! It ends April 18th @ 8pm EST
