Hey all!

Today's mani was done using a base of Love & Beauty Coral. The dots, Milani Hi-tech and Confetti Wedding White, were added using a dotting tool.

My 21st birthday is in 5 days!

Mixed Up Mani

Hey guys! I know I haven't posted in a few days but things have been kind of hectic around here!

Today's mani was done using Confetti Wedding White, Confetti Moonstruck, Cover Girl Crackle Ghost and Wet n Wild Collecting Pollen. These pictures were taken after about a week of wear.

Tissue Paper Manicure

I was feeling a little creative the other day and decided to try something new! Now, I don't know if anyone else has ever done this but it popped into my head to use tissue paper on my accent nail!

I painted every nail except the accent nail in 2 coats of China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-Le. Then, I painted the accent nail in a coat of Confetti Wedding White and let it dry almost completely.

Next, I cut tiny pieces of tissue paper. I used a baby blue tissue paper and a tan with hexagonal silver glitter tissue paper.

Then, I applied a coat of Seche Vite on the accent nail and began to layer the tissue paper onto the nail, trying to get it as flat and smooth onto the nail as possibly. Finally, I applied a coat of Seche Vite over all my nails and let dry!

Guy Meets Gal-veston

This is OPI Guy Meets Gal-veston from the Texas Collection. It is a red-orange with a slight pink tinted jelly based nail polish. I applied 4 coats and there is still a very visible nail line. However, this nail polish is super fun and really stands out!

I used Confetti Wedding White and Revlon Gold Coin to make the design on the accent nail!

Hey all! I attended another wedding over the weekend and this was the manicure I have been wearing since Friday. This has to be one of my favorite manicures ever! I absolutely love the base color and the stamping pattern seemed like the perfect design to go with it.

Spiraling Out of Control

Today's manicure consists of two coats of Ulta The Jungle Look. Then I stamped the design from the Bundle Monster Plate BM-224 using Sally Hansen Black Out and Confetti Wedding White. I am really enjoying this design and I don't want to take it off!

Leopard Print (again?!)

OK, OK. So you are going to say, "Leopard print, again?! What is wrong with this girl?"

Well, I ordered the 25 piece Bundle Monster plate set and received it last week. I tried out a few of the designs over the weekend but I didn't take any pictures because: 1) I forgot and 2) I wasn't too happy with my color choices!

So that brings us to my current manicure. I wanted to do something simple and quick that I couldn't really mess up too much!

I applied two coats of Confetti Wedding White and then stamped the leopard print design from plate BM-221 with Revlon Gold Coin.

Blue Skies and Green Grass

Being that yesterday was the start of the Spring season, I decided to do a quick manicure based on what I love about the Spring season: warm air, blue skies and bright green grass.

I picked up these three Wet n Wild polishes at Harmon's Discount. I heard about this store on someone's blog and decided to check it out. WHY DIDN'T I KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE BEFORE?! It is amazing! Such a great selection of nail polish, makeup and other beauty products. I am lucky enough to have two of them within a half hour of where I live.

My Heart Feels Like This!

My heart feel exactly like this mani looks: it is bursting with joy! Corny but oh well ;D !

This mani is clearly very similar to one I have done before for during the Christmas season minus the under layer of Wet n Wild Comet.

This is two coats of Confetti Wedding White with Wet n Wild Prancer layered over that. I then added to fimo slice hearts to the accent finger.

My nails are slowly growing back but I have been having crazy breakage and have to file them back into shape. It gets annoying but *shrugs*.

Confetti polishes and a mini Seche Vite review

 Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, Confetti Moonstruck, Confetti Wedding White

Confetti polishes were on sale for $1 (orig. $1.99) at CVS about two weeks ago. The display was pretty much empty when I discovered this so I picked the two polishes that stuck out the most to me. Moonstruck is a wonderful taupe polish. I LOVE IT! It is a bit more like the bottle color than what is showing up in the manicure photo. I believe I used 2 coats. I did the design with Confetti Wedding White using a dotting tool but this can be easily done using a toothpick or the ends of a bobby pin.

A quick review on Seche Vite:
I am a little late on the Seche Vite train. I actually never cared too much about what base coat and top coat I used but after hearing rave reviews about the top coat I decided to buy it. Except I accidently picked up the base coat LOL. I did go back and  buy the top coat a few days later.

In regards to the base coat, since it is called "Crystal Clear Base Coat", I don't care for it much. I actually prefer my Milani base coat. What I do like about the base coat is that it provides a smoother surface which helps with polish application.

Now the top coat I LOVE. It dries super fast and leaves a beautiful shine! I also notice that I don't get tip wear as quickly as I did when using other top coats. I am a believer! LOL
