NAIL ART: A LITTLE BIT OF ART

Free-hand manicure. It looks bubble-y and bumpy, but at least this time I wanted it to be that way! To get it that way, I applied Nailene's ACRYLIC STRONG top coat while my nail polish was still wet. I don't quite know why this particular top coat does that to my manicure when I apply it! *shrugs*

There is some wear visible on the tip of the middle finger and the corner of the thumb. OH WELL!!

Nail Polishes Used:

-Quirius (280 Orange Slush)
-love & beauty (BR4153 Bronze)
-Maybelline foreverstrong (140 Time for Wine)
-Maybelline EXPRESS FINISH (95 Berry Boucle)
-Nailene ACRYLIC STRONG top coat

  2. Maybe this'll be the next big nail trend--textured topcoats--you're just a pioneer. :)

  4. I like that. It reminds me of an abstract painting done to show the brush strokes and palette knife marks.

Maybe your top coat doesn't work and play well with wet polish? Have you tried letting your polish dry for a while before you apply your top coat?

If you love to apply top coat while your polish is wet, Seche Vite is designed to bond with wet polish and dry your manicure quickly. :)

  6. >Hi Vero:

    >Bubbles are caused by the flammable liquid vapor in the nail polish trying to escape. If you shake the nail polish bottle up and down, bubbles may form and reach your gorgeous nails. Maybe try rolling the polish gently in the palm of your hand.

    >However, where are the, "bubbles," Looks awesome to me.

    >sorry...:( "Maybe contact the manufacturer of the top coat and ask if they use a "light" to "cure the polish," Do you ever use nail polish fast drying drops? Like Sephora's, one drop seals the polishes to the touch in minute. Five minutes and cures all the layers. Some web bloggers don't use them for various reasons.

    >I like the drops because the color of my toes seals fast, LOL

    >Really nice idea from, "Ice Queen's," tip for using Seche Vite, I heard many web bloggers use it also.
