Bath and Body Works Halloween PocketBacs

From Left to Right: Skulls Forbidden Apple, Sour Drop, Phantom Pumpkin, Bones Monster Mint, Chocolate Chew, Zombie Tonic Marshmallow, Bat Bite Apple, Vampire Blood Plum

Here is the final part of my Bath and Body Works haul from a few days ago. The Halloween PocketBacs were 8 for $5 (usually 5 for $5)!

I love Halloween and the design and scents of these PocketBacs are so cool! For a closer look, just click on the picture above.

Skulls Forbidden Apple actually smells like a red apple. Most apple scents are usually green apples, if I am not mistaken.

Sour Drop smells exactly like your typical sour candy: Fun Dip, Sour Drops, WarHeads, etc.

Phantom Pumpkin smells like the Creamy Pumpkin candle I posted about here. It is a light, sweet bakery scent.

Bones Monster Mint smells like a vanilla mint.

Chocolate Chew smells EXACTLY like a chocolate chew that may or may not have a fruit filling. Like when you bite into one hoping it is only chocolate and then find out it is cherry filled. LOL

Zombie Tonic Marshmallow smells just like the Marshmallow Fireside candle I posted about here.

Bat Bite Apple has the typical green apple scent.

Vampire Blood Plum smells lightly fruity but more of a perfume scent.

My favorite out of the 8 would have to be Phantom Pumpkin. If you have any of these, let me know which is your favorite. If you don't, which are you most interested in trying out?

More Candles! (Bath and Body Works)

Today, I have more candles to show you all. These are the two candles that my mom purchased (mentioned here). These are 14.5 oz. three wick candles.

Creamy Pumpkin is of course a bakery scent. It is sweet and warm. Smells a bit like pumpkin pie but not "genuine".

Marshmallow Fireside smells just like marshmallows. If you have the Zombie Squad PocketBac, which is marshmallow scented, it smells exactly like that (minus the alcohol scent that hand sanitizers have).

Do you have any Bath and Body Works candles that you think I should try out? I have really been loving these and I would love your recommendations!

*To answer your questions from the last post:

Amelia (In The Pink of Things): We bought a Nikon d3100 with a 55-200mm lens. Not a great lens for taking manicure pics but I am working on getting a lens more suitable for that!

Bath and Body Works Mini Candles

Left to Right: Hot Chocolate, Woodland Berry, Caramel Apple

If you follow me on Twitter (and if you don't, you should!), I tweeted earlier that I PROMISED I would have a new blog post up today. Am I a liar? I THINK NOT! =]

I am a little excited about this post because, 1) I have new things to show you and 2) The picture above is the first photo (and it is edited!) that I am posting on my blog that was taken on my new camera that boyfriend and I purchased!

I went to Bath and Body Works with my mom yesterday and knowing that the Halloween stuff is around, I just had to go in. I purchased some mini candles that are pictured above and a couple of PocketBacs, that I will show in an upcoming post. My mom purchased two full sized candles that I will also be reviewing in an upcoming post.

The 1.6 oz. mini candles were 3 for $5, which I honestly don't think is that bad. I mean, you get to try out a variety of scents before you go ahead and purchase the full size, which can put a whole in your wallet, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, on to the scents because this post is getting kind of long!

Hot Chocolate is truly an authentic hot chocolate scent. I don't even like chocolate scents but I really do love this one.

Woodland Berry is a clean scent that isn't very unique but it reminds me of another Bath and Body Works scent that I can't really remember at the moment. Sorry, I suck at this one!

Caramel Apple is a sweet and salty scent. To me, it is the kind of scent that I can only smell for a little while otherwise it gets kind of nauseating LOL if that makes any sense at all.

I hope you guys are doing well and once again thank you for reading! For those of you experts on photo taking and editing, let me know how this looks please. I would REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate your feedback.

Gettin' Nutty

WOW! I haven't done a manicure post in what seems like FOREVER! That is going to change though. I just got a new bottle of Seche Vite and I am getting back into a steady schedule with school and life so expect to see regular posting (hopefully!).

The above manicure was done using two Love & Beauty polishes from the haul I posted here. The base polish is a scented polish called Natural, with the scent being Almond. Now, this doesn't exactly smell like almonds. It has a sweet scent that takes getting used to, at least for me. It doesn't smell nutty at al, but of course I don't know what usual almond scents smell like.

I accented the ring finger with Love & Beauty Turqoise, a polish with hexagonal and micro glitter. I topped it off with Maybelline Matte Maker because I tried using a Sally Hansen quick dry 2 in 1 top coat/base coat that I had laying around (because I ran out of Seche Vite) and it caused bubbles, which I HATE!

Thank you for reading! Leave a comment if you like =]

Mini Love & Beauty Nail Polish Haul

Of course I have been slacking on these blog posts lately! It was my 21st birthday, Labor Day weekend and the school semester has started. Plus, I have run out of Seche Vite top coat and cotton balls and haven't had a chance to pick them up! I am all full of excuses =]

New posts coming soon! Which of these polishes would you like to see first?
