LUSH End of the Year (Boxing Day) Sale Haul
After being snowed in since Sunday, I FINALLY made it out to the LUSH stand at Macy's. The end of the year sale this year consists of buy one get one on all holiday items (including wrapped gifts) and soaps and wrapped gifts made before November 1st.
I actually only planned on picking up two items but when I got there..well..you know lol. I am probably going to head back sometime early next week and pick up some Cinders bath bomb and maybe the Once a Year Massage Bar. I smelled the Once a Year massage bar at LUSH but I wasn't too impressed by it but maybe I'll feel differently next time.

My Favorite Nail Polishes of the Year!
As a way to wrap up the year, I figured I would develop a list of my favorite polishes that I have acquired this year! These are not necessarily polishes that were released this year. They are just favorites out of the ones I purchased in 2010.
By the way, if I haven't already stated before, 2010 was the year I fell in love with nail polish! My polish stash has grown significantly this year!
This list is not in any certain order!

Milani Jewel FX Gems
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this polish! After searching about 10 CVS stores with the boyfriend, we finally found not one, but TWO bottles of this beauty. Sadly, I still have yet to find Milani Jewel FX "Gold".
Milani "Gems" has red, gold, silver, green and blue large hexagonal glitters along with very small glitters. It is said to be a close dupe of Deborah Lippman's "Happy Birthday".
I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas weekend! We were hit with a blizzard on the East Coast. I'm pretty sad about this because I am eager to hit the malls for all the sales going on!

*closed* Let's Get Clean: Yester Year Soap Review and Giveaway
Sponsored by Tomoson.com
Hey all! Today I have a review on some soaps from Yester Year Soap Company.
Here is a little info on Yester Year Soaps:
"Our soaps are made from certified organic vegetable oils, scented with pure essential oils from plant extracts and colored with organic herbs. We use no synthetic fragrances, colorants or preservatives in any of our soap products. The result is a gentle bar suitable for all skin types, even for those with sensitive skin."
Packaging: The items came packaged very uniquely! I received the items in a flat rate box which included a brochure, the soaps wrapped in paper sitting on a pile of straw. Very simple and elegant!
Each soap comes wrapped in plastic (not fully) and includes a card with the scent and ingredients.
Cucumber Lavender:
This soap smells very fresh and has a great lavender scent. I do not really smell a separate cucumber scent though. This soap is very nice and makes you feel a little bit more awake when you step out the shower!
Vanilla Strawberry:
MY FAVORITE! I absolutely love love love love love the scent of this soap! It definitely has a nice blend of vanilla and strawberry scent. DELICIOUS! I could use this soap everyday for the rest of my life.
Cinnamon Latte:
This soap smells strongly of cinnamon. Although I am not much of a fan of this one, if you like spicy scents you very may well love this one! I believe there are actual bits of cinnamon suspended in this soap as well to give you a little exfoliation!
Watercress & Aloe:
This soap is a very basic, fresh scented soap. If you like floral and fresh scents you will love this one!
All the soaps lathered very well and did not dry out my skin as it usual does with regular drugstore soap. If you have not yet tried any kind of natural handmade soap, give Yester Year Soap a try! They have many different soap scents of which you can order online!
Giveaway:
One Winner will receive 2 bars of soap from Yester Year Soap Company!

Let's Stand Under the Mistletoe *wink* (and China Glaze Mrs. Clause swatch)
Base Color: Love & Beauty Bronze
Today I have another simple holiday look for you guys! I used 3 coats of Love & Beauty Bronze. I then applied fimo slices and red rhinestones to create a simple mistletoe image to the accent nail. My nail glue has dried up, so I used Seche Vite Top Coat to apply the fimo slices and rhinestones.
This is two coats of China Glaze Mrs. Clause. This polish has silver and red glitter suspended in a pinkish red jelly base. I used two coats but could have definitely used another coat or two because there was a visible nail line.
Eh, I could live without this polish. Although pretty as a PINK polish, as a RED its just "bleh".

Fortune Cookie Soap Review
Today, I have a review for you guys on FortuneCookieSoap.com. For those of you that do not know about this company, Fortune Cookie Soap is a company that makes "safe unique bath and body products (via company website)".
FortuneCookieSoap.com has a variety of products including fortune cookie shaped soaps, bar soaps, bath bombs, bath melts, milk baths, sugar scrubs, shampoo bars, plus many more!
I had been wanting to purchase from FortuneCookieSoap.com after I heard about the company on a few YouTube review videos. On Black Friday, FortuneCookieSoap.com had a sale for 50% of their signature fortune cookie shaped soaps (naked - without extra packaging). With the sale, I spent no more more than $1.70 each (original $2.75 - $3.49 each). I took advantage of the opportunity and ordered 4 fortune cookie soaps. I was also sent a few samples.
Shipping time was not bad considering the amount of orders they must have received and that these are handmade items!! I ordered on Black Friday and the items were shipped out on the following Wednesday.
The fortune cookie soaps are absolutely adorable. Each comes with a little slip of paper tucked in with a little fortune!
When I received the items they were well packed with peanuts in a box and nothing arrived broken! I was extremely grateful for that!
Each item was individually wrapped and included a sticker with the company logo, the name of the product and the ingredients.
Oatmeal Cookie: This is my absolute favorite of all the soaps. It smells so delicious! This soap, which has bits of oats inside, smells like warm oatmeal with vanilla and honey. I wish the smell on this one was stronger because it smells so delightful!
Caramel Apple: I didn't really like this one at all. I was expecting more of a caramel apple mixture scent but what it really is, is the two seperate scents. To me, the apple scent is too strong and the caramel scent is not strong enough. The apple scent also does not have a "true" apple smell, it is more of a generic scent.
Cherry Limeade: Isn't this one adorable?! According the the description on the website, this soap is supposed to smell like Sonic's Cherry Limeade. Sadly, I do not have a Sonic around my area to compare it to. What I do know is that this smells a bit like cherry chapstick and red Starburts. Yummmmay!
Sweet Tart Martini: This was the scent the knocked me in the face as soon as I opened up the box that everything came in! Initially, it really did smell like the candy Sweet Tarts. However, after letting each item sit separately outside of the box, the scent on this soap seemed to disappear. It not just has a generic soap smell ;/ with the tiniest scent of what I smelled when I first opened the box. This one also dried out my skin a bit.
Now onto the samples:
Vivid (available in Fortune Cookie and Bar Soap) - This is my second favorite scent (after Oatmeal Cookie)! The description of this soap on the website is spot on:
"Vivid is one of those scents you can’t quite put your finger on … we made it that way on purpose! This fruity scent is jam-packed with peach smell paired with green apple – you want a cocktail?"
That is exactly how I felt when smelling the soap. I could not really figure out what the smell was but it reminded me of something! It kind of reminds me of on of the Laffy Taffy candies. The scent is sweet but no overbearing. There is glitter in the soap but it doesn't really stick to you, which is great with me!
Lick Me ALL Over - I do not like this one at all. *takes moment to go smell again, trying to give it another chance* Yeah, I still don't really like this one. As much as I have been smelling and smelling and smelling this one, I don't really smell much of anything. There is a very slight lemony scent but that is all I can smell on this. This one also has glitter.
Lime in the Coconut: I really like the soap. The two scents really compliment each other nicely! At first, I felt that the lime was a little too strong but it has evened out and smells amazing! The little coconut shreds on top are a really nice touch.
Rosewood if She Could: Doesn't the name make you giggle? The design on this soap is very nice. Check out the website for the full design. This soap smells exactly like rosewood. I am not really a fan of floral/woodsy scents but this one is light and something I would not mind using!
Lava Rox Bath Salt: I have not had a chance to use the bath salt as yet but I do have to say this smells amazing! It smells sweet with a slight floral scent. The description on the website say:
"This fruit concoction contains pink grapefruit scents along with papaya and mango."
I definitely smell a little papaya scent in there. The scent is very calming and I cannot wait to try this!
All the soaps lather fairly well. The scents do not linger on the skin very long which is a bit disappointing. My suggestion is to use the fortune cookie shaped soaps as hand or decorative soaps. If you want a full body soap, go for the bar soaps!
I am very pleased with FortuneCookieSoap.com customer service and overall I am looking forward to trying more products from this company!
*I was not paid to review. I purchased the full sized items myself and was sent samples for free. This does not affect the opinions in my review.

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms "Diamond" and "Imagine Coral", plus items added to my giveaway!
Sally Hansen Nail Prisms "Diamond" is a silver holographic nail polish. Above is three thin coats with Seche Vite on top! I absolutely love this nail polish although I do find is to be a little "90's tacky". Do I care though? NOOOOPPPEEE!!
Sally Hansen "Imagine Coral" is a bright, almost hot pink nail polish. It is a little brighter than what is showing up in the pictures. This is three coats. There is still a visible nail line which I am not liking very much but since this is a pretty color I will have to deal with it.
On the accent nail I added Wet n Wild "Dancer" which is pretty much the silver version of Prancer. I could not get my camera to capture this at all! Boo ;[
Sally Hansen "Diamond" and "Imagine Coral" are two of the polishes in my giveaway. As a reminder I am posting the pictures of the double packs below:
"Cheerful Crimson" and "Diamond"
"Imagine Coral" and "Always Ascher"
BUT WAIT! THERE IS MORE! =)
THE WINNER WILL ALSO WIN:
Revlon "Perplex", Wet n Wild "Comet" (gold version of "Prancer" and "Dancer") and Wet n Wild "Dancer" (pictured above [sort of lol] on top of "Imagine Coral")
For convenience I am going to put the form to enter below. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ENTERED DO NOT ENTER AGAIN! I have your entried recorded, I am just adding this form again here so you all do not have to go back to the other post since everything is in this one! =]

I provide you with my first Holiday Giveaway!

China Glaze Naughty and Nice w/ Wet n Wild Prancer
China Glaze Naughty and Nice may look like a black polish BUT IT ISN'T! It is a very deep, vampy burgandy nail polish. While I am pretty sure this will stain my nails, I am liking this nail polish. The above picture is two coats with no top coat. One coat will really show the burgandy of the nail polish, however it is difficult to get an even one coat. Two coats turns the color VERY dark.
The formula on this polish is not that great but for the color, it is something I can deal with. I don't have many vampy colors in my stash so I was excited for this one! Did I mention this polish was pretty much hell to clean up?
Above, I layered Wet n Wild Prancer over China Glaze Naughty and Nice. Isn't it stunning? I cannot stop looking at my nails (but then again, that's pretty much the case always!). The larger red hexagonal glitters with the tiny small round glitters in a clear base make this an awesome top coat to put over your holiday mani's.
I am pretty disappointed that the bottle is only .22 fl. oz. I found it in a display at CVS with other Wet n Wild holiday nail polishes.
